Short answer: Yes — CalendarFundraiser works with any FACTS SIS (formerly RenWeb) school. Export your roster, drop the CSV in, and every student gets their own pick-a-date calendar, automatically grouped by class, in about two minutes. No product catalogs, no cash to chase, and you keep 100% of every donation.

Why calendar fundraisers fit private and Catholic schools

Private and Catholic schools raise for tuition assistance, capital campaigns, athletics, arts, and mission trips — usually with a small, tight-knit community rather than thousands of strangers. A pick-a-date calendar fundraiser fits that perfectly:

  • Supporters claim a day and give the amount that matches it — the 1st is $1, the 31st is $31. A fully claimed 31-day calendar raises $496 per student.
  • No cookie dough, no wrapping paper, no delivery, no company taking 40%.
  • You keep 100% of donations; donors cover a small service fee at checkout.
  • Funds deposit directly to your own Stripe or PayPal account — the platform never holds your money.

What is FACTS SIS (and why people still say RenWeb)?

FACTS SIS is the school information system formerly known as RenWeb. FACTS (a Nelnet company) acquired RenWeb in 2014 and rebranded it, but plenty of school office staff still call it RenWeb. It's used by thousands of private, Catholic, and independent schools to manage students, grades, and family records — and, importantly for you, it can export a roster.

How the FACTS roster import works

This is the two-minute part.

  1. Export your roster in FACTS. Run a roster or class report and export it as a CSV. Typical columns: student first/last name, grade level, homeroom or teacher, and parent/guardian email and phone. Exact headers vary by which report you run — that's fine.
  2. Create a team campaign in CalendarFundraiser and choose "Use a team of participants."
  3. Import roster (CSV). Under Email Participant Team → Invite, drop in your export. CalendarFundraiser auto-detects the columns (Student First Name, Grade Level, Homeroom, Parent Email, and so on) and shows a quick confirmation screen so you can adjust anything.
  4. Done. Each student becomes their own calendar, auto-organized into classes from the homeroom column — which powers your class-vs-class leaderboards — and duplicate/sibling rows are handled for you.

No live API, no data-sharing agreement, no IT project. You export the file you already control and drop it in.

Built for student privacy

Schools — especially private and Catholic ones — are rightly careful with student data. CalendarFundraiser is designed to hold as little as possible:

  • Public calendars show students as "Alexander W." — a first name and last initial, never a full name.
  • Parent contact info is used only to send invites and is never shown publicly.
  • You decide how little to share — often just a first name and grade.

"We never publicly show more than a first name and last initial" is a line that reassures principals and diocesan IT reviewers.

What it can raise

The math scales with your student count. A 31-day calendar is worth $496 per student when fully claimed:

Students 100% claimed 75% (realistic)
25 $12,400 $9,300
50 $24,800 $18,600
100 $49,600 $37,200
200 $99,200 $74,400

A school doesn't need thousands of donors — it needs motivated students who each ask a handful of family and friends for small amounts.

Works beyond FACTS

The same import reads roster exports from PowerSchool, Blackbaud, Gradelink, Sycamore, TADS, Rediker — or any plain spreadsheet. It auto-detects the columns, so you're never locked to one vendor's format.
