Sponsor terms

Last updated September 23, 2026. These terms form part of the Terms of Service (section 6). By paying for a sponsorship you agree to them.

What you are buying

A sponsor spot is one cell on one calendar page — the campaign's own page or one participant's page, whichever you paid on — showing your business name, one line, your logo and a link to your site, for the life of that campaign. There are at most 6 spots on a calendar. You can give more in $100 steps, up to 10 units.

The presenting sponsor placement puts “Presented by” your business under the title and your card under the grid on every page of one campaign, for the life of that campaign. One business per campaign.

A sponsorship is a payment for a placement, not a donation. Whether it is deductible for you is a question for your tax advisor; we make no statement about it.

What it costs and where the money goes

A sponsor spot is $100 per unit plus one $7 service fee per sponsorship, however many units you choose. The organization receives $70 of every $100; the rest is CalendarFundraiser's share and fee, and CalendarFundraiser pays card processing out of it. The presenting sponsorship is $496 plus a $15 checkout fee; the organization receives $300. Every amount is shown to you before you pay.

You pay through the organization's own Stripe or Square account. Your card statement shows the organization's name. Your receipt is in your sponsor account.

Review

Your business name and line go on the calendar as soon as the payment clears. Your link and logo appear after a person at CalendarFundraiser has looked at them, usually the same day. If we cannot use a link or an image we email you the reason and you can change it. We may pause or remove a placement that breaks these terms, with or without a refund.

Restricted categories

Calendars belong to schools, teams and community groups, so these are not accepted: alcohol, tobacco or vaping, cannabis, gambling, adult content, weapons, political campaigns, payday lending. By paying you confirm your business is not in one of them.

Refunds and disputes

The organizer can refund a sponsor spot in full within 7 days of payment from their dashboard. After that, and for a presenting sponsorship, write to support@calendarfundraiser.com and we decide case by case. A refund returns everything you paid, including our share. If you dispute the charge with your card issuer, the placement comes off the page while the dispute is open.

Your account and your numbers

The email you paid with signs you in at calendarfundraiser.com/sponsor/account, where every placement you bought is listed with impressions (one open of a calendar page your ad is on, per browser session) and clicks (one tap on your ad, per visitor per day). Crawlers and previews are not counted. Clicks pass through our counter and arrive at your site with utm_source=calendarfundraiser so your own analytics can see them.

Content you give us

You must have the right to use the name, line, logo and link you provide, and you allow CalendarFundraiser and the organization to show them on the calendar pages, in emails about the campaign and in printed material for it. We never sell or share your contact details; they go to the organizer of the campaign you sponsored and to us.
