What is a quinceañera party fundraiser?
A quinceañera party fundraiser is a pick-a-date calendar fundraiser that does what padrinos have always done, on one shared calendar: the venue, the gown, the tiered cake, the music, the photographer. Instead of asking each padrino for a set amount, the family shares one calendar in the months before the quince; every tía, tío, cousin, and godparent picks a date, the date is the price, and every claim shows their name and a blessing for the quinceañera. The party is the deadline, and the filled calendar is the guest book.
How a quinceañera fundraiser fills in 72 hours
Real numbers, real calendar. One theatre booster club, 58 participants, two weeks, hour by hour. Every calendar fills the same way, yours included.
A 58-member roster, live on a weekday morning
Every cast and crew member got a personal link. First gift 33 minutes after launch; $114 on day 1, $381 on day 3, $610 on day 4.
All 146 gifts came through personal links
58 participants, 146 gifts, 69 donors. A big roster fills steadily rather than in one burst — the pattern is a wave every few days as each family gets around to it.

43% by day 4
$1,105 by the end of day 4. Peak hour 11 AM — parents at their desks, not at bedtime. Different audience, different clock.
Six days of $59–$112
The calendar didn't stall — it idled. Six days averaging $86 while the first wave of family had already given.
One team message produced 29% of the total
A re-send to the roster on day 12 brought $254 that day and $485 the next, the biggest day since launch, two weeks in. The nudge is not optional.

Big rosters need a second push, on schedule
Send the team message on day 5 and again on day 12. This club's re-send produced 29% of its total and the biggest day since launch.
Launch three months out. Padrinos first. Nudge on day 5 and again on day 12.
Build the calendar and go live three months before the quince, when the venue and the gown are being booked. Text the link to the padrinos and the closest family first, then the wider family in the group chat. Expect most of it in the first week, one message on day 5, and a re-send on day 12 — the second push was the best day of the real campaign above.

The date is the amount
31 dates, each a tiara, a gown, or the tiered cake. No amounts to assign, no awkward asks — Day 15 is $15, Day 31 is $31.

Quinceañera fundraiser ideas that fill the calendar
- 01
Send the 15th to the madrina first
Text the link to the madrina or the main padrino and ask them to claim the 15th. A claimed 15th on day one pulls the rest of the calendar.
- 02
One stretch per padrino tradition
Tell the family days 1–10 cover the gown, 11–20 the cake and the photographer, 21–31 the venue and the music. Padrinos pick the piece they've always wanted to give.
- 03
Blessings on the supporter wall
Every claim shows a name and a message. Ask the family to write their blessing in the message field, and read the wall during the brindis.
- 04
Print the QR code on the invitation
Every campaign gets a QR code the moment it's built. Put it on the invitation and the padrinos card — a scan lands on the calendar.
- 05
Set the calendar to 2× for a bigger ballroom
A quince for 200 guests needs more than $496. The 2× date-pricing setting makes the 15th $30 and a full month $992 from the same 31 dates.
- 06
Give the court their own dates
Days 1–7 are the small ones. The damas and chambelanes can claim a date each with their own message on the calendar.
- 07
Let the cousins take the middle
Days 10–20 are a comfortable amount with a name on it. The cousins' group chat fills them in an evening.
- 08
Keep the party a party
Keep the calendar as the only money mechanic. Nobody hands the parents cash at the door, and every gift lands with a receipt.
- 09
Share it in the family group chat on a weeknight
The share menu sends the link by WhatsApp, text, or email in one tap. A Tuesday-evening share starts faster than a Sunday one.
- 10
Frame the filled calendar
Print it with every name and blessing. It's the guest book, the padrinos list, and the record for the thank-you cards in one.

How much can a quinceañera fundraiser raise?
All 31 dates claimed totals $496 at standard pricing. Set the calendar to 2× and the same 31 dates raise up to $992. Many families run one calendar per padrino tradition — the gown, the cake, the venue — and the totals add up.
How do padrinos usually pay for a quinceañera?
Traditionally each padrino sponsors one piece: the gown, the cake, the venue, the music. A pick-a-date calendar keeps that tradition and makes it simple — the family shares one link, each padrino picks the dates for their piece, and every claim shows their name and blessing.
What does a quinceañera fundraiser cost to run?
Building and running a calendar is free. Contributors pay a small service fee at checkout, shown before they pay, and you keep 100% of calendar gifts. The fee is described in full in our Terms of Service.
When should a quinceañera fundraiser start?
Whenever you are ready. This is 2026: click and text, they pick a date and give. Most groups run it in the month before the event so the money is in before it is booked.
Do we need to be an organization?
No. Families run calendars every day. You need a payout account in your name — Stripe or Square — and that's it.
When does the money arrive?
Gifts settle into your own Stripe or Square account. With Stripe, the standard schedule pays out to your bank after 7 days; Square follows its own payout schedule. Either way, payouts run on a regular cycle and go to your bank automatically — you don't have to do anything.
Do padrinos need an account?
No. It's a web link: tap a date, enter a name, pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, or card.
