Elite Stars Success Dance Team raised $3,567 in 10 days with 13 dancers
By the CalendarFundraiser team · Published September 12, 2026
“Elite Stars Success Dance Team” is a pseudonym. Every figure is taken from the campaign’s own records on CalendarFundraiser, read on September 12, 2026. The calendar runs through September 30, 2026, so this is a mid-campaign snapshot; the page will be updated when it closes.
A competition team of 13 ran one September pick-a-date calendar, “30 Days to the Stage.” It raised $3,567 in 10 days from 219 gifts by 119 donors, with the first gift two hours after going live. No email list was uploaded: 217 of the 219 gifts came through the dancers’ own links.
What did the team set out to fund?
Competition season: entry fees, costumes, and travel for a 30-day push before the first event. The studio created the campaign as a team calendar with a target of 12 dancers and a goal of $5,580, which is 12 fully claimed September calendars at $465 each. Thirteen dancers joined. Each got a personal link and QR code by automatic email and shared it with their own family circle.
How did the money come in, day by day?
73% of the total landed by the end of day 4. The calendar then idled: days 9 and 10 raised $67 together, because no reminder was ever sent to the team.
| Day | Raised | Running total | Bar |
|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 · Tue | $224 | $224 | |
| Day 2 · Wed | $843 | $1,067 | |

| Day 4 · Fri | $515 | $2,588 | |
| Day 5 · Sat | $174 | $2,762 | |
| Day 6 · Sun | $394 | $3,156 | |
| Day 7 · Mon | $227 | $3,383 | |
| Day 8 · Tue | $117 | $3,500 | |
| Day 9 · Wed | $23 | $3,523 | |
| Day 10 · Thu | $44 | $3,567 |
How much did each dancer raise?
All thirteen dancers received gifts through their links. The top two passed a full $465 September calendar because supporters can boost a gift above the date: 16 of the 219 gifts were boosted, $174 in all. The median dancer raised $315. The two dancers who never shared their link still received $36 and $1 from family who found them on the team page.

When do supporters give?
Two waves every day: a morning wave from 9 to 11 AM and an evening peak at 8 PM, Eastern. Per day, weekdays out-gave weekend days about 1.6 to 1 in gifts. If you send one team message, send it for the 8 PM wave.

What did a gift look like?
- Average gift $16.29; the largest single gift was $100, then $50, $36, and two of $33.
- 1.65 dates per checkout: supporters often claimed two dates for one dancer.
- The thirteen dancer bars sum to $3,537. The other $30 came as two gifts made on the team calendar itself rather than through a dancer’s link.
- Round dates went first. The 10th, 20th, and 30th were claimed 11 times each, the 5th and 25th 10 times.
- 72% of gifts carried a message on the calendar. No supporter chose to give anonymously.
- 1,041 visits to the dancers’ links and 69 shares from the share menu produced the 219 gifts, about one gift for every five clicks.

Day 2 $843, day 3 $1,006, day 4 $515. Peak hour 8 PM, second wave 9–11 AM; per day, weekdays out-gave weekend days about 1.6 to 1. $2,588 by the end of day 4.
- Days 5–8 · The long tail
Late joiners bring their own wave
Three more members joined on days 3, 4 and 6, each with a fresh family burst. 119 donors, $16.29 average gift, 1.65 dates per checkout, 72% left a message on the calendar.
- Day 9+ · What they missed
Nobody sent the day-5 nudge — days 9 and 10 raised $67
The Email Team tab was never used, so the calendar went quiet at 64% of goal. One team message on day 5 — "we're at $2,700, the 20s are wide open" — is the single step this playbook adds.
What should your group copy?
- Go live on a weeknight before dinner. This calendar was built in six minutes at 5:28 PM and had its first gift by 7:27 PM.
- Get every participant’s link out on night one. Families who had a link on day 1 gave on day 1. Dancers who joined on days 3, 4, and 6 each brought a fresh burst.
- Set the goal per participant. 12 dancers × $465 gave every family a concrete number to chase.

Questions about this campaign
How much did the dance team raise with a calendar fundraiser?
$3,567 in 10 days, from 219 gifts by 119 donors, with 13 dancers each sharing their own calendar. The goal was $5,580 (12 dancers × a $465 September calendar), so the team had reached 64% of goal when the records were read on September 12, with the calendar open through September 30.
How fast did the first gift come in?
About two hours. The calendar went live at 5:34 PM on a Tuesday and the first gift arrived at 7:27 PM, with 21 gifts and $224 by midnight.
Did the studio upload an email list?
No. 217 of the 219 gifts came through the dancers’ personal links, shared by text. The only email the platform sent on the studio’s behalf was the automatic join email with each dancer’s link and QR code.
What would have raised more?
One team message on day 5. Nobody used the Email Team tab, so days 9 and 10 raised only $67 combined. In the other case studies here, a theatre club’s day-12 re-send produced 29% of its total in two days, and a school PTO’s second week beat its first as late-joining rooms got their links.
Is this a real campaign?
Yes. Every figure comes from the campaign’s own records on CalendarFundraiser, read on September 12, 2026. The organization’s name is changed; dancers and supporters are not named.
