Team Travel Fundraiser
Pick a Date. Get to Every Away Game.
Every player gets their own calendar. Family claims a September date and gives that amount — Day 3 = $3, $465 per player — and you keep 100% of calendar donations. A 30-day month raises $465; a 31-day month raises $496.
342 days to the first away trip.

What is a team travel fundraiser?
A team travel fundraiser is a pick-a-date calendar fundraiser that pays for the season's travel: the bus, the hotel nights, the tournament entry, the meals on the road. Every player gets their own calendar under the booster club's campaign; family and friends pick a date on that player's calendar, the date is the price, and every claim shows their name and a message for the player. The first away trip is the deadline.
How a team travel fundraiser fills in 72 hours
Real numbers, real calendar. One theatre booster club, 58 participants, two weeks, hour by hour. Every calendar fills the same way, yours included.
A 58-member roster, live on a weekday morning
Every cast and crew member got a personal link. First gift 33 minutes after launch; $114 on day 1, $381 on day 3, $610 on day 4.
All 146 gifts came through personal links
58 participants, 146 gifts, 69 donors. A big roster fills steadily rather than in one burst — the pattern is a wave every few days as each family gets around to it.

43% by day 4
$1,105 by the end of day 4. Peak hour 11 AM — parents at their desks, not at bedtime. Different audience, different clock.
Six days of $59–$112
The calendar didn't stall — it idled. Six days averaging $86 while the first wave of family had already given.
One team message produced 29% of the total
A re-send to the roster on day 12 brought $254 that day and $485 the next, the biggest day since launch, two weeks in. The nudge is not optional.

Big rosters need a second push, on schedule
Send the team message on day 5 and again on day 12. This club's re-send produced 29% of its total and the biggest day since launch.
Launch at the first practice. Every player joined the first night. Nudge on day 5 and again on day 12.
Build the team campaign and go live the week of the first practice, before the first travel deposit is due. Players join through the club's link and each gets a personal calendar by email that night. Expect most of it in the first week, one team message on day 5, and a re-send on day 12 — the second push was the best day of the real campaign above.
Everything a team travel fundraiser needs
Built for the booster club that fronts the bus deposit every August: one campaign, a calendar per player, and the travel paid for before the first away game.
The date is the amount
30 September dates per player, each a mile marker. No amounts to invent, no dues letter — Day 14 is $14, Day 30 is $30.

Team travel fundraiser ideas that fill the calendar
- 01
Launch at the first practice
The bus deposit is due before the first away game. A campaign that goes live the week of the first practice is funded before the check has to be written.
- 02
Every player joins the first night
Share the club's join link in the team group text after practice. Each player who joins gets their own calendar and QR code by email that night.
- 03
Grandparents take the 30th
Ask every player to text their calendar to a grandparent first and ask them to claim the last date. A claimed 30th on day one pulls the rest.
- 04
Road-trip messages on the supporter wall
Every claim shows a name and a message. Ask family to write a send-off in the message field, and read the wall on the bus.
- 05
Print each player's QR code on the schedule
Every player's calendar gets its own QR code. Put the season schedule with QR codes on the concession-stand table — a scan lands on that player's calendar.
- 06
Set the calendar to 2× for a tournament season
Three out-of-state tournaments need more than $465 a player. The 2× date-pricing setting makes the 14th $28 and a full month $930 per player.
- 07
One stretch per trip
Tell families days 1–10 pay for the first trip, 11–20 the second, 21–30 the tournament. They pick the trip they'd rather fund.
- 08
Send the team message on day 5 and day 12
The team message tab emails every player's family at once. The real campaign above made 29% of its total from a single re-send on day 12.
- 09
Keep the fundraiser off the sideline
With the calendar collecting the money before the season, nobody sells anything at games, and every gift lands with a receipt.
- 10
Post the filled calendars on the bus
Print the top calendars with every name on them. Next season, share the campaign again and the same families come back.

How much can a team travel fundraiser raise?
All 30 September dates claimed totals $465 per player at standard pricing. Fifteen players on one campaign is $6,975 at full claim; real team campaigns fill 60–85% of their dates. Set the calendar to 2× and each player raises up to $930.
How does a team calendar work?
The booster club builds one campaign and shares a join link. Every player who joins gets their own calendar and QR code by email, family claims dates on that player's calendar, and the leaderboard shows every player's total.
What does a team travel fundraiser cost to run?
Building and running a campaign is free. Givers pay a small service fee at checkout, shown before they pay, and the club keeps 100% of calendar donations. The fee is described in full in our Terms of Service.
When should a team travel fundraiser start?
Whenever you are ready. This is 2026: click and text, they pick a date and give. Most groups run it in the month before the event so the money is in before it is booked.
Does every player need an account?
No. Players join through the club's link with a name and an email, and their calendar and QR code arrive by email. Givers need nothing at all.
When does the money arrive?
Donations settle into the club's own Stripe or Square account. With Stripe, the standard schedule pays out to your bank after 7 days; Square follows its own payout schedule. Either way, payouts run on a regular cycle and go to your bank automatically — you don't have to do anything.
Do givers need an account?
No. It's a web link: tap a date, enter a name, pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, or card.
