Ramadan Giving Calendar
30 Days. Pick a Date. Give the Date.
Everyone claims a date of Ramadan and gives that amount — Day 3 = $3. Thirty dates raise $465, and you keep 100% of calendar donations. A 30-day month raises $465; a 31-day month raises $496.
112 days to Ramadan.

The 30 Nights of Giving Fund
Give a little every night — the date is the donation. Night 13 gives $13. A month of generosity, one night at a time.
What is a Ramadan giving calendar?
A Ramadan giving calendar is a pick-a-date calendar fundraiser shaped like the month itself: thirty dates, one for each day of Ramadan. Members of the mosque, the Islamic school, or the MSA each claim a date and give that amount toward the community iftar, the food baskets, or the Eid gifts, and every claim shows their name and a message. The calendar fills as the month does, and the last day of Ramadan is the deadline.
How a Ramadan giving fundraiser fills in 72 hours
Real numbers, real calendar. One theatre booster club, 58 participants, two weeks, hour by hour. Every calendar fills the same way, yours included.
A 58-member roster, live on a weekday morning
Every cast and crew member got a personal link. First gift 33 minutes after launch; $114 on day 1, $381 on day 3, $610 on day 4.
All 146 gifts came through personal links
58 participants, 146 gifts, 69 donors. A big roster fills steadily rather than in one burst — the pattern is a wave every few days as each family gets around to it.

43% by day 4
$1,105 by the end of day 4. Peak hour 11 AM — parents at their desks, not at bedtime. Different audience, different clock.
Six days of $59–$112
The calendar didn't stall — it idled. Six days averaging $86 while the first wave of family had already given.
One team message produced 29% of the total
A re-send to the roster on day 12 brought $254 that day and $485 the next, the biggest day since launch, two weeks in. The nudge is not optional.

Big rosters need a second push, on schedule
Send the team message on day 5 and again on day 12. This club's re-send produced 29% of its total and the biggest day since launch.
Launch two weeks before Ramadan. Nudge on day 5 and again at the last ten nights.
Build the calendar and go live two weeks before the month begins, so the iftar budget is covered by the first week. Share the link after Jumu'ah and in the community group the same day. Expect most of it in the first week, one message on day 5, and a re-send at the start of the last ten nights — the second push was this club's best day.
Everything a Ramadan giving fundraiser needs
Built for the mosque's community iftar, the Islamic school's food drive, and the MSA's Ramadan campaign: one calendar, one link, everyone gives a date.
The date is the amount
30 dates, one for each day of Ramadan. No pricing to invent — Day 14 is $14, Day 30 is $30.

Ramadan giving calendar ideas that fill every date
- 01
Launch two weeks before the month
Families plan their giving before Ramadan begins. A calendar that goes live two weeks out is filled by the first iftar.
- 02
Send the 27th to the imam first
Text the link to one person and ask them to claim the 27th night. A claimed Laylat al-Qadr on day one pulls the rest of the calendar.
- 03
One family, one day
Share the link with a single line: give the day that's yours. Families choose the day a child was born or a parent passed, and the calendar fills on meaning.
- 04
Du'a on the supporter wall
Every claim shows a name and a message. Ask families to leave a du'a or a Ramadan greeting in the message field, and read the wall at the last iftar.
- 05
Print the QR code on the iftar schedule
Every campaign gets a QR code the moment it's built. Put it on the iftar schedule and the masjid notice board — a scan lands on the calendar.
- 06
Set the calendar to 2× for a bigger iftar
Feeding 300 every night needs more than $465. The 2× date-pricing setting makes the 14th $28 and thirty days $930 from the same dates.
- 07
Give the last ten nights their own push
Days 21–30 are when giving peaks. Send a team message at the start of the last ten nights — this is the re-send that produced 29% of a real campaign's total.
- 08
Let the MSA run its own stretch
Hand days 1–10 to the student association to fill from their own families. Same calendar, their own dates.
- 09
Share it after Jumu'ah
The share menu sends the link by WhatsApp, text, or email in one tap. Friday afternoon, when the whole community is on their phones, is the moment.
- 10
Post the filled calendar at Eid
Print it and display it at the Eid prayer with every family's name. Next year, share last year's calendar with the new link and it fills itself.

How much can a Ramadan giving calendar raise?
All 30 dates claimed totals $465 at standard pricing. Set the calendar to 2× and the same 30 dates raise up to $930. Team calendars multiply that by the number of participants.
Is a giving calendar an appropriate way to give sadaqah?
Many families use one as a way to give a set amount on a chosen day of the month, with the amount and the day recorded for their own reckoning. Whether a specific gift counts as sadaqah or zakat is between the giver and their scholar; the calendar only records the day and the amount.
What does a Ramadan giving calendar cost to run?
Building and running a calendar is free. Givers pay a small service fee at checkout, shown before they pay, and organizers keep 100% of calendar donations. The fee is described in full in our Terms of Service.
When should a Ramadan giving calendar start?
Whenever you are ready. This is 2026: click and text, they pick a date and give. Most groups run it in the month before the event so the money is in before it is booked.
Do we need to be a nonprofit?
No. Mosques, Islamic schools, student associations, and families all run calendars. You need a payout account in your name — Stripe or Square — and that's it.
When does the money arrive?
Donations settle into your own Stripe or Square account. With Stripe, the standard schedule pays out to your bank after 7 days; Square follows its own payout schedule. Either way, payouts run on a regular cycle and go to your bank automatically — you don't have to do anything.
Do givers need an account?
No. It's a web link: tap a date, enter a name, pay with Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, or card.
